On their CD "Bleecker - Bowery", Michael Packer sings about it in songs like "Christmas On The Bowery", "#6 Train" and "Bleecker Street". He has paid his dues on these streets and, it is our gain. The basic groove of these songs is seamlessly produced. Their sound is blues with pathos, but not the rasp. This CD is full of suprising streams of music that will jump out and startle you. Bottom line, you will love the sound coming out of this CD. From the funky bass and rhythm of "The Duece" to the bass, bongo and flute combination on "I've Got A Mind To Give Up Living", the musicianship is exciting.
